Position Details

  • Full Time, Permanent Position
  • Classification: SCHADS Level 7 with a salary range of $124,863 - $130,100 per annum + Superannuation
  • Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
  • Location: Preston VIC (however remote or hybrid working arrangements will be considered)

About your new role

The WHS Business Partner will apply a business partnering approach in supporting all aspects of the WHS function to promote a strong culture of safety, wellbeing and prevention and ensure that Neami meets all Health and Safety legislative requirements and is compliant with all state WHS and OHS Acts.

The role will build collaborative partnerships with leaders, managers, health & safety representatives (HSRs) and work to provide expert advice on all aspects of Health and Safety with a focus on Psychosocial Risks and Hazards and promote a healthy and safe workplace.

What you will bring to the role

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety, Organisational Psychology, Occupational Therapy or similar field.
  • 5+ years’ work experience in a WHS Business Partner role or transferable skills in a similar position.
  • Working knowledge of Australian Work, Health and Safety legislation, WHS Systems and ability to interpret and provide advice on such legislation.
  • Advanced communication skills, including excellent written and report writing skills, and the ability to craft and tailor written communications for a range of audiences.
  • Experience in the design, implementation and review of WHS development programs and successful delivery of WHS projects.
